In the pans

Noelle is really becoming a crack up. She loves sitting in the pan cupboard. Playing with the dish towels and having a blast all by herself--well if she can acquire and audience she will take it. She loves to giggle, and play and dance and sing. Oh she is cute.....

Games and More Derby games

Here is Tyler showing off our family cars we made for our Pine Wood derby. WE had a blast racing these little wood cars on the pine wood derby track. Each family got to paint there own to represent the there family. Dad and Mom took the final checkered flag on the championship race. But boy did we have a good time. We also raced hot wheels cars and that was fun.

Who has the best spin

Our family really had a blast playing fun cheap games! One of our favorite was a top tourney. Everyone had a top with there name on it and got a chance to spin to win cheapo prizes from the dollar store.

Silas and Gayla Family Reunion

Almost the whole family made it to the reunion at our house here in Utah. We had a blast!

Just missing Jason and Rocio and Moroni and Joshua

There were a few missing smiles as well but the weekend went off without a hitch! We had fun at the pool, doing service for the Ronald McDonald house and doing a headstone hunt at the SLC cemetery.

Keven Graduated!

Keven is a graduate! Well actually he graduated in December but walked in July. So super proud of him!

Noelle had her first taste of a Kit Kat Candy bar--and I think by the smile and the mess one could conclude that she liked it.

Cottage Cheese Facial

Noelle has decided that for a fashionable new look is to cover herself with cottage cheese. Oh how she loves to do this. One has to keep a close eye on her or she will finish her meal with a quick brush through of large curd cheese. Strange child!

It's my party

It's my party and I'll cry if I want too cry if I want too....

That was the story of Noelles first birthday.  She had been sick and was tired and this was about the only smile we got out of here on her birthday.

She is just growing like a weed.  

She now has 5 teeth, walks, talks a little, loves walks in the park, cousins to play with and mac and cheese.

Most of the family made it over to celebrate cake and icecream with us. We had a busy but fun Day.  Edgar got baptized as well over the same weekend so it was fun to have family here.

Kitchen Adventures

I had that first mother worry of "why is it so quiet"  I was working on the computer and could not hear Noelle.  Low and behold this is what I found when I went to find her.  She had pulled out the over drawer and crawled in.  Crazy child.  She thought she was hilarious.

Little peep on Easter

Easter was fun this year.  Noelle didn't quite know what to think of the mad dash at the Easter egg hunt here in town.  There were nearly more hunters then eggs.  It was an amazing site to behold.  Noelle got herself and egg or two but this hard candy she could cant eat.  I guess that will save us in the long run on dentist visits.:-)

Surprisingly she did try and love her first peep.  But then who does not like pure sugar!

Spring Bliss

Noelle has grown out of smiles for the camera.  She thinks that about everything in the general area is more fun and interesting then smiling for mommy.  These daffodils were as tall as she is standing and that is TALL.

Our tickets were high in the rafters but hey we were there.  The game was a absolute blast!  GO JAZZ!! 

Jazz Fan

We have on our hands a real Jazz fan.  She got to attend her second Jazz game a we weeks back when we skunked the Boston Celtics.  It was great.  She really loves to cheer for the team. 

We had a great time!

Homemade is best made

Brandon and I went shopping for fabric for my poodle skirt.  This was his choice--which I happen to love since it accents my baby blues well.  And, just to be different we did a kitty instead of a poodle.  Brandon, Maddie and Edgar all helped me decorate it.  Good times in the lyons den.

Valentines Romance

Keven and I partied on the town this Valentines Day.  Well, actually we went dancing in our sock hop get-up.  We had a wonderful time.  Two years now but who is counting.  Loads of fun.

Watch out TOOTH Fairy

Look everyone!!! I have  my first tooth.  Noelle got her first tooth about a week and half ago.  I dont know if it caused her much pain since she had the flu the same week that her tooth pushed through.  If you thought her tongue was wild before you should see it work that tooth over.

Messy Messy Messy

There is not much that Noelle likes to eat but when it comes to good old Idaho potatoes we are in business!  She loves them as well as homemade mac and cheese.  Heres' hopin' she will develop a few more likes for eatin'!
